Daniel Weiner, NASM-CPT
Hello! My name is Daniel. I’m a NASM certified personal trainer with over five years of experience working with a wide range of clients, including teenagers to people in their 70s. I work with people just beginning their fitness journey, pregnant women, as well as former college athletes, bodybuilders, and individuals training for races. I also help clients who are navigating challenges such as eating disorders and body image and mental health struggles.
My approach is holistic, focusing on consistency, daily habits, sleep, nutrition, mental health, and a positive mindset to help you make real, lasting progress.
I fell in love with fitness playing sports growing up and training with my best friend in my senior year of high school. Investing in myself through training showed me what hard work and dedication can accomplish, and it sparked my passion for helping others feel the same confidence and strength.
While studying psychology at Michigan State, I became fascinated with how the mind works and the connection between mental and physical health. During a challenging semester off due to illness, fitness became my anchor, helping me push through one of the darkest times in my life. This experience inspired me to become a personal trainer, to help others experience the transformative power of taking care of their bodies and minds.
After graduating, I shadowed a friend at a National Hockey League facility in Connecticut and learned from top trainers. I earned my personal training certification and began my professional career at Fitness Formula Clubs in Chicago. I later moved to Miami where I worked at Equinox South Beach and training alongside one of the city’s top trainers while deepening my knowledge in kinesiology and physiology. That year challenged me in countless ways but ultimately made me a stronger trainer and person.
Today, I bring all of these experiences back to Chicago, combining science-backed training, practical strategies, and genuine care to help every client reach their goals and build a healthier, more confident life.
